Fisher German Towcester Pedestrian Bridge – Northamptonshire, England

After successfully removing the old structure, an assessment of the footings took place to ensure they had not been damaged during the removal of the old pedestrian bridge. The new footbridge deck was delivered to site in one piece and set down within the compound area. The deck was fixed using a chemical anchor system, and it was slung into position to enable marking out and lining up holes for drilling. After the deck installation was complete, the parapets and rails were fitted to the pre-drilled holes and fixed securely.

The site was cleared of all plant and machinery. Any waste, materials and litter were disposed of in the skip provided leaving the site clean, tidy and safe. The Beaver Bridges team also worked hard to complete this project in a professional and safe manner, on budget, on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
