The timber footbridge solution offered to Berkeley Homes for this project was a fully timber, Beaver Bridges proprietary product, fabricated at our facility by our own fully competent staff.
The bridges comprised of two 4m long x 2m wide and two 6m long x 2m wide softwood C24 tanalised timber bridges with post and rail parapets and fully galvanised fixings. All timber is FSC certified.
Delivery was made to site on time and Berkeley Homes were very pleased with the punctuality, high quality finish, practicality of the bridges and the professional service provided by Beaver Bridges.
Since their installation the bridges have provided a safe and convenient access route for recreational walkers. During heavy rainfall the bridges ensure the open land can still be accessed which was not an option beforehand.
All criteria were met, on time and performed safely.
