Richard Hinckley is a commercial leader in bridge and infrastructure engineering having been in the bridging sector for many years. He has driven turnkey delivery, modular bridge adoption, and growth across highways, rail, utilities, and events and now leads global expansion of the business through Beaver Bridges International. Building global partnerships that deliver sustainable, cost-effective bridges connecting communities worldwide and our unique fully financed Green Steel bridge offering.
Richard brings over 20 years’ experience guiding multimillion-pound infrastructure projects. He previously led business development for HS2 and other flagship schemes as well as heading national sales and marketing teams at Director level.
At Beaver Bridges, Richard’s blend of technical insight, commercial acumen, and safety leadership has helped the team win awards including New Civil Engineering Bridge Contractor of the Year 2024 as well as many other industry awards.
Driven by collaboration, he champions a clear mission: “to connect people and places through resilient engineering that respects our planet.” From early feasibility to design, fabrication, and rapid installation, Richard delivers tailored, end-to-end support for governments, contractors, and consultants, building bridges that truly build futures.
