About / Meet The Team / Pete Dalzell
Pete Dalzell is Managing Director of Beaver Bridges, appointed in November 2022 to lead the company through its next phase of growth. Since taking the helm, he has sharpened commercial strategy, expanded the business’s sector reach, and championed full turnkey delivery across highways, rail, utilities, and private estates.
He brings two decades of experience leading high-performance teams across complex organisations. Previously, as CEO of Oktra (2018–2020), he drove nationwide expansion and major workplace fit-outs, and at Marston’s PLC (2002–2017) he delivered operational transformation across 1,400 pubs and breweries, progressing from Operations Director to Managing Director.
Pete combines people-focused leadership, P&L expertise, and customer-centred innovation to deliver successful contracts on projects ranging from the North Coast 500 to the Forth Road Bridge. Guided by his “Maximum Effort” philosophy, he empowers multidisciplinary teams to deliver resilient infrastructure safely, efficiently, and sustainably. From feasibility and stakeholder engagement to design, fabrication and rapid installation, Pete provides end-to-end stewardship, helping clients turn ambitious visions into durable, value-driven assets.
“In bridge design and construction, precision, and efficiency matter. We aim to get it right first time, ensuring our clients can focus on what they do best, while we handle the complexity.”
