Scope of Work: Principal Inspection & Production of Report
Beaver Bridges were awarded this contract by George Leslie Limited in May 2025 to undertake a structural and condition inspection of the Valve Tower Pedestrian Bridge at Muirhead Reservoir near Dalry, Ayrshire, Scotland. George Leslie is a regular client for Beaver Bridges and a major delivery partner for Scottish Water. Muirhead Reservoir was constructed by Paisley Corporation Water Works, opening in 1942 to supply drinking water to that town, today it is operated by Scottish Water. The inspection was undertaken in August 2025 via rope access to determine required maintenance work to the valued structure over the 12 to 18 months.
