Pedestrian Bridge

Canglour Glen, Stirling, Scotland
  • 6 Tonne
  • Permanent

Overview

Beaver Bridges were contracted by Canglour Glen who required a new pedestrian bridge at their site in Scotland.

Within the contract, Beaver Bridges were requested to supply and deliver a pedestrian bridge to the Canglour Glen Forest site in Stirling.

Programme

The scope of works began with a CAT I Design and Check Certificate for the site and required pedestrian bridge in Scotland.  The structure was delivered to site in one piece. Due to the size of the bridge, this made the delivery an abnormal load, which required a permit and pilot vehicle to transport safely and legally. Steel galvanised parapets were delivered flat pack with the bolts. Once complete, the vehicle bridge structure weighed in at 6 tonnes.
