UPM Tillhill Cycle Bridge

UPM Tillhill approached Beaver Bridges about the possibility of installing a bridge in a very remote section of Welsh mountain side as focal in a brand new investment to the Llandegla cycle track.

The access to the bridge site was very difficult indeed involving a very narrow, steep and muddy track.  This prevented a traditional bridge being built and as such Beaver Bridges offered a modular bridge that could be transported by timber forwarding equipment and then erected and launched out over the ravine

To launch a bridge of this design in the very tight confines of steep woodlands created a number of challenges for Beaver Bridges.  Beaver Bridges were able to overcome these challenges and still complete this project on time, on budget and within a restrictive environmental framework

Beaver Bridges designed, manufactured, erected and launched a 36m cycle bridge.  Beaver Bridges also designed and installed the foundations for this project offering a true ‘one stop shop’ for all bridge projects
