• Bridges are designed in accordance with BS 5400-3:2000 code of practise for the design of steel bridges
• All pedestrian parapets are designed in accordance with Technical Approval Schedule (TAS) in BD2 Fully welded seams to BS EN 287-1 2004 Quality control
• All aspects of our bridge projects are independently verified to ensure quality standards are reached
• Welding
• All our welders are coded to BS EN 287-1 2004-1 2004 Welder Approval
• 30% of all welds are tested using the die-penetrative method
• All welds are carried out using Bohler certified wire
• All welds are checked by Pearsall Training and consultancy
• Blast cleaning and paint applications are checked by Chris Joyce of STP coatings
• Chris Joyce holds an Institute of Corrosion Level 2 certificate
