BRIDGE OVERVIEW

Beaver Bridges are constantly addressing the changing requirements of our customers; to that end we are continually updating our current proven designs as well as creating new concepts for bridges and there uses. The most recent of these being the Easy Beaver Modular Bridge.

Many of our temporary bridge customers decide on modular bridging e.g. Bailey Bridges; the main reasons for this are their flexibility on the span required, coupled with their deck load capacity (Highways Agency Loading Specifications). However there are disadvantages to using this method of bridge as a temporary structure, the most obvious being costs involved and leadtime e.g. this type of bridge can take a matter of weeks to erect and the same to dismantle.

Our new unique Easy Beaver Bridge (Patent Pending) is semi modular and designed to carry Highways Agency loadings. Due to this unique design it can be erected in a matter of days NOT weeks, making it the ideal replacement for any customer looking to hire a temporary (or permanent) bridge whilst still maintaining the confidence of a modular Bailey Bridge.

• GRP deck - reduced weight for transport into difficult access situations (equal loading capacity to steel)

Beaver Bridges if required are capable of manufacturing bridges to order from clients own design drawings and specifications, adhering to all Health and Safety standards.
